Dubai, UAE: After last year’s success, Murdoch University Dubai is all set to host high school counsellors from across the UAE at its third Annual Counsellor’s Workshop which will be held on May 21, 2015 at the Towers Rotana, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai.
The theme for this year’s forum is ‘Key Issues for Counsellors and Teachers in Preparing Students for a Changing World’.
Education today is witnessing accelerating change that has given rise to certain key issues which counsellors and educators need to assimilate while guiding students on their future career path. The event’s keynote speakers, Dr Max Sully, Dean and Academic President for Murdoch University Dubai and Gail Fernandez, Academic Advisor from the Scholarship Office at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, will therefore be addressing the importance of preparing high school graduates with ‘Emotional Intelligence and Coping Skills’ as well as, ‘Career Decision Making’.
