HAVE FAITH IN YOURSELF, IN YOUR ABILITIES, KNOW THAT ONLY YOU CAN DO IT FOR YOURSELF.

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.

Believe in your abilities, that you are worthy enough for anything, and that you can achieve things with your hard work, persuasion, and sincerity. the people who do not believe in them selves give way to negative thoughts, leading to negative actions and self doubt.

Never let negative thought make home in your mind, as it will breed contempt, hatred, self defeating thoughts, demotivating you and will generate a feelings of unworthiness.

Build your confidence, give space for positive thoughts. know that only you can help yourself, no matter what people around you do to support you, the ultimate power lies in your hands. Take charge of your life. Lack of self confidence restricts you from obtaining or achieving goals, generate self hatred patters in behavior, thinking negatively about oneself, and stopping you from performing better. This is not restricted to self, it starts showing up in relationships, workplace, social groups, where you hesitate to ta take any decision, any step, starting new business, initiating a plan in office, sharing an idea, speaking your own mind, making you anxious and hopeless in situations as you think that you can not perform well and not worthy enough, or a more worse form of it like, what ever I do never turns out good or positive.

Setbacks do come in life, sometimes we have to face failures too, but that doesn’t mean that we are not good enough. This thing should be taken in a positive manner, that though I have failed this time, I will put in more efforts to improve the situation. It might take a little longer, but ultimately I will achieve my objectives.

Deal with your negative thought pattern, train your mind to think positively, believing in your efforts, your hard work, determination, know that you will do it.

Keep a check how you behave in certain situations, how you react to things and circumstances, know your behavior and your attitude toward things. This will enable you to see how you are reacting to things and dealing with situations, it will prepare you for challenging situations that arise, and then you will know how to handle those situations. You will learn from your mistakes, it will guide you which path to take to road to success.

LIFE AS I SEE IT

“Focus on what need to be done, and leave behind what went wrong, or what you could have done”.

As we pass our days, thought of things that went wrong, and brought us to a point in life, where we do not admire our standing, do cross our minds. Life is not a laid out plan, we make plans on basis of our inspirations, aspirations, our needs, our responsibilities, and our need to have peace within that comes from knowing of who we are and what we want.

Some people like myself, do want goals and plans in life, thinking out rationally and practically what needs to be done, which have better outcomes, and to somehow have a sound future. Meanwhile learning from mistakes that occurred, and stopping our so active mind to ponder on things that went wrong, decisions that lead us to a tight spot.

The key is to be consistent in your thoughts and actions, and awareness of your present and making decisions wisely and sticking to them. Being hesitant is going to lead you nowhere. Being afraid of things, people and situations would too be of no use, and you will be standing at the same point from where you started. Learn to take some risks where required, it give you more confidence and your mind will clear of doubts which you have about your self.

Ignore people who say bad things regarding you, avoid situations which you know would be difficult for you to handle. Take responsibility of your actions. No matter if times are hard, and you are farther away from your goals, keep your focus, keep positive, and keep on moving, stopping will attract negative thoughts and keep you away from your destiny.

YOUR AUTHENTIC SELF

Are you in pursuit to find yourself, searching for answers that you never thought of earlier? But have you thought of the most basic questions:

  • “Are you the real you?”
  • Have you ever thought that, “Whether you are doing what you are meant to do?”
  • “Have you reached the height of actualizing your potentials?”
  • “Are you connected to who you really are?”

I didn’t knew about it too, so many years ago I went to a self help group, where I was asked questions like these, whether I was connected to my core or not. Speechless as I was and shake my head in favor of NO. There I learned what connecting to your real self means. Its definitely not, which place I belong to, what role I am in, what profession I pursue. I was asked to write on a plain paper what I like in life, what I really see myself doing, what I love doing, what things make me cry, make me laugh, what things I enjoy the most, what my hobbies are. Making me realize which path to choose for myself in practical life. Even now I think of it, it warms me up, just by knowing who I really am, what I really should be doing. And I am again on the path to find the real Authentic Me.

The Trainer in that course made me realize and helped me in connecting to my core, finding who I really am. It is not the job that you do, not the social status that you have, but what your abilities, skills, aspirations, talents, and wisdom are. This defines your real self. Every one is unique, so are the abilities, the power of one’s wisdom, certain skills that are novel. All waiting to be explored to be acknowledged, expressed and to be worked on.

You can never be happy of satisfied from inside until you connect to your real self, attain your Authentic self, it is you who is the master of the game in your life, and no one else. Doing something forcefully which is not there in you will bring in negatives, and you will be drained of all the light which is in you. Discover who you really are, putting aside all the roles that are demanded of you, your pressures form your work, your other responsibilities.

Analyze yourself, start knowing your nature, what makes you tick, what your limitations are, what things you acquired in your behavior and attitude, how you interact with people, what your goals are in life, which things you can change in yourself and in your surrounding, what are the strengths and weaknesses in you, find out what guides you , motivates you, which relations are your strength, and which relations drag you. Each of us have a unique self,  unique potentials, and unique way of thinking,    this is Maslow’s Self Actualization, in Psychology of self.

“Real knowledge is to know the extent of one’s ignorance.”

Authentic Self means connecting the inner real you, with the outer image which is attributed to you. Authentic Self means that all is in congruence. And you have a deeper knowledge of yourself, by knowing your weaknesses you strengthen your positive points, by knowing your failings you work on your gains, you do things that are according to your beliefs and your value system. Expressing all the way your Authentic Self. You will a much fuller sense of your self, one which is more contending, relaxing, cherishing, and purposeful one. 

Being Authentic will make you confident, you will feel more positive, have a better insight in yourself and LIFE, greater self esteem, more emotionally intelligent, vital, and more creative.

DEFINE YOUR PATH

These lines crossed my mind some time back, and I thought of sharing it here. We are often faced with the dilemma of choosing a path that is less stressful, among the others. Or choosing a completely different path, in order to change our lives or our situations.

If we sincerely want to take a big step to a greater goal, lots of effort is required. Thinking something, is not enough, until you act on it, or until you put your thoughts into actions.

I am taught from an early age by my beloved mother:

  • No pain no gain.
  • No game without risks.

Doing something big always involve risks, in taking some steps we hesitate, and become confused. And we a re forced to think again and again the same point where we are stuck, thing causes confusion in our mind, and we loose our confidence. This in turn closes our mind for rational thinking, or stops us from analyzing the situation in a positive manner.

After we cross this stage of turning our sails in a favorable direction we succumb to lack of motivation, and become tired of pushing harder in the direction of our goals.

Wait and just think. if you keep on doing that and keep on saying that you are tired of putting efforts and nothing fruitful is coming out. You are making your self believe that you  can not do more. Don’t send these negative messages to your mind. Because it will act the way your believe system is developing.

Choosing something for ourselves is not that much of a problem for most of the people, staying motivated and persistent is the main problem, that most of us face. If you start having doubts about your selection, fear of future or its results, will sweep in. This believe will make you feel trapped, and you will not be able to focus on the matter at hand.

Remember:

  • Keep yourself motivated by realizing and making yourself believe that it will work out eventually, even if it not working the way you want it to right now.
  • Take one step at a time, and consider it as a great milestone.
  • Don’t be scared of the results, if you start concentrating how it will turn out, you will never be able to give it your best.
  • Concentrate on your goals and  your plan of action.
  • Never let anyone put you down.
  • Do not take approval from people who do not understand your vision.

If you have your eyes on your goals, and are determined for achieving something, which really matters to you, you will never fail.
